Oh my god! I have been looking forward to this show for a long time, as I've
been listening to the European tapes.... then I could not resist some California
ones by my friends - then I STOPPED! I needed this to be my own gig, fresh, and
I needed to feel the way I felt that music when my brother, 10 years my senior,
was dumping it on my 7-year old developing brain... He probably started earlier
- I just don't remember! I was born around the time most of this was written :)
I cannot begin to describe really what it means. To so many of us!!! - and it
was SPECIAL, just absolutely special. Even before Roger Waters miraculously
appeared in the corner of the stage! But THAT has given the audience such a jolt
- holy crap - I think we went orgasmic! By some miracle, I started filming
literally 1 min before it happened - the ONLY song I actually filmed! - and as I
was zooming on Mason from my lodge seat, my full focus on the screen, I heard
audience roar, and out of the corner of my eye, I saw this black figure crossing
the stage... well - I'll post a link to the video - which (bless my camera!) has
the close sharp footage of the thing except for some shakes at the beginning. I
swear filming took some discipline! :) Hopefully it won't get removed lol
Recording - YES - it's great :) And it's got nice mastering touches by ZH and
then - I REALLY have to be at work, but I cleaned it up in the AM from some
screams and whistles (priorities!!) and - in a true 'group effort to deliver'
this thing to you as quickly as possible - bnz kindly volunteered to track it,
while I'm typing this and getting dressed for work lololol
So - ENJOY our Pink Floyd mini-reunion gig - it was SO SO SO touching!!
