A quick thanks re the effort it goes to posting a show is also appreciated
If you wish to share elsewhere, please keep the files intact & give credit to
the original recording. I will add to Dimeadozen
As a matter of interest, during the encore break a scuffle was breaking out
between two people in the rows behind me - not sure what it was about, but got a
bit heated & "offering to meet outside" - I heard, but recording only just picks
up
Re the concert itself, I had the chance to see PF back on the original Wall
tour, but turned it down - what a dickhead !! - so only saw PF a few times
in the 80's & 90's. Also caught Roger (touring The Wall) a couple of years ago
When I first saw news of Nick's tour & the sets they had played earlier this
year I just had to get a ticket
To hear the "old" and much loved early Floyd was a great draw.
I thought the band were great - with Gary Kemp a great inclusion - and in his
little talk enthusing over seeing Floyd in the '70's. Amazing to think he went
on to lead Spandau Ballet - but had is head screwed on, because look what he has
achieved.
Thanks to all the band for a great night
I hope when they re-emerge next year they add a couple of other classics - I've
always loved Remember a Day, The Scarecrow, Cirrus Minor & it would be funny to
hear The Gnome !!
As it was mentioned, I was one of the souls who bought (& still has) Relics - £
1.29 in Downtown Records, Basildon - about 1977 ???
