Amougies Festival Actuel

Data: 25 October 1969
Miejsce: Mont de L'Enclus, Amougies, Belgium
Amougies Pop & Jazz Festival

1. Green Is The Colour
2. Careful With That Axe, Eugene
3. Set The Controls For The Heart Of The Sun
4. RTBF Belgian Documentary

Here's what I did:
i took the Amougies footage from the '1969--1972 - Pro-Shot In Europe 1969-1972' dvd and added into those two tracks the footage of 'Green is the Color' from an mpg source. I took the color out of 'Careful with that axe' to make it match better. I then dubbed in sound from the soundborad tracks on 'Interstella Zappadrive'. To compensate for messing with the tracks i included a menu so i could include all the source material in its original format. And i also included the '1969 Amougies Festival Documentary (VCD)' to round it off. But its not an English language documentary (it's in French). (and it doesnt have any footage of Pink Floyd, but does have a small snippet of Zappa standing in a crowd). For the back ground sound on the menu i added the two 'Tune Up' tracks from 'Interstella Zappadrive'. All the footage here is believed to originated from the 'Music Power' movie.

These are relevant extracts from the source text files:

Green is the Color:
Ok, here is Green is the Colour being performed at Amougies. Because I know little about video I am assuming this is lossy. Maybe someone else can tell me. The audio certainly looks
lossy at reaches 13khz and cuts off from there. I know some of you may have seen this before and maybe some of you haven't. That version is totally out of sync and has some French announcer bit before the song starts. The version I present here is in sync bit missing that French announcer. The video is MPEG-1 and the audio is 224kb/s stereo.

Amougies Festival Belgian RTBF TV Documentry (French Language):
main song title : Hang on to a Dream video mpg Length: 18 min 53 seconds
Belgian B&W TV documentry made by TV station RTB appears to have been shown on TV in Belgium in late 1969 this is only the first part of the documentry and it is missing the opening title credits but catches the date November 17, 1969 and the director : Marc Mopty it opens with the Church bells tolling in Amougies with scenes
of the town and just outside the Festival site and tent being
prepared, interviews with town officals and scenes of teenagers arriving, interviews with some shop keepers and teenagers heading to the festival site.
Music releated segments are at
4'14 audio music for 30 or 40 seconds
8'45 audio music for 10 seconds .........Who is this ?
10'33 an Amougies Festival poster visible in a store window
15'05 The Nice introduced play "Hang on to a Dream"
15'21 > 15'28 Frank Zappa seen in the crowd
16'32 Bill Bruford playing drums (obviously dubbed in)
