I have never been overly fond of the movie "The Wall." So, four years ago, I
made my own! I searched TV, DVD, videotape, and internet sources of clips that I
would link to Pink Floyd's "The Wall" CD's.
Originally, I had completed this project in 2010 with the Wall CD's. Then
Yeeshkul mentioned that no official material can be shared here. So I
reprocessed my project and re-edited it to the music of the great Roger Waters
2012 May 11 audio bootleg.
NOTE: Parts of this contain real war footage with real dead bodies lying around.
The bodies are in black and white, but I feel that I need to note that for any
sensitive viewers.
I find this to be cleverly compiled and synced, ie. bomb explosions synced to
drumbeats, and showing an actual horizon with smoke
for the line "a distant ship smoke on the horizon." Also, I found footage of a
Nazi teacher with a class of kids with subtitles (for "happiest days of our
lives"). Some people may detest projects such as this. I hope that there are
more people who like it than hate it. It's not 100%
perfect, but here it is. Enjoy!
