Arte TV Octopus Documentary

In June 2017 a
French 'Pathe Marconi' edition of Syd Barrett's Octopus single was sold for
10,500 Euro. The single came from the ORTF archives, Office de
Radiodiffusion-Télévision Française. The French-German television station Arte made a 25 minutes documentary about it all, existing in two languages: French (original) and German (dubbed). The documentary has interviews with Peter Jenner, Duggie Fields, Pink Floyd collector Bill Palmieri (dubbed into French) and a few French people, including author Jean-Michel Espitallier who wrote a Syd Barrett book. This DVD has the French version of the documentary: Au fil des enchères: Le 45-tours "Octopus" de Syd Barrett Director: Joëlle Oosterlinck. Bonus material: pre-release version of the English interviews, WITHOUT overdubs, but with some big French subtitles. (Many thanks to the person leaking this.)
