1. Sheep |
This is an incomplete show, the only parts that were filmed by these sources are Sheep and the DSOTM set. Added to this DVD are Hop The Ponds digital camera video clips making up a small montage of the first set.
The DSOTM set is a 2 camera mix, filmed in 16:9 on NTSC mini
DV, captured through Sony Vegas 6 via firewire to AVI from the master mini dv
tapes in NTSC 720 x 480, rendered to NTSC MPEG2 at 6,500,000CBR, menus, editing,
rendering all done with Sony Vegas 6, DVD authoring- REEL DVD. Audio was used
from an uploaded
source on this site. Theres a couple of minutes of slow motion video during
Comfy Numb where the video had to be "stretched" to fill in 60 seconds of blank
where no cameras were filming.
This show (whilst imcomplete) shows what a great gig and venue
the Hollywood Bowl is, its very unique and there were several effect that were
only possible at this show, ie the flames out of the top of the stage during
Sheep and the fantastic lighting effect on the stages "shell" like cover, watch
for this on Any Colour You Like
and Brain Damage and Eclipse.Theywent overboard with the bubbles during SOYCD
and the confetti during Sheep, you had to be there to appreciate it. The
Hollywood crowd are VERY laid back and 30% of people didnt even start taking
their seats till well after the first couple of tracks!
Many thanks to the filmers Rusty P and Ed B and to the excellent audio source recorder.
