Knebworth, Hertfordshire, June 30, 1990. 120.000 fans gathered for an historic concert event to aid the Nordoff-Robbins Music Therapy Centre and the BRIT School for Performing Arts and Technology. This icredible benefit concert was an instant success due to the high energy, awe-inspiring performances of such rock 'n' roll legends as Paul McCartney, Phil Collins, Eric Clapton, Elton John, Mark Knopfler, Robert Plant, Jimmy Page, Status Quo, Tears For Fears, Cliff Richard & The Shadows and of course, Pink Floyd.

Pink Floyd performed seven songs during this show, but previous VHS, Laser Disc and DVD editions of this concert have featured only two of Pink Floyd's seven performances - Shine On You Crazy Diamond and Run Like Hell. Psychedelic Closet Records special edition of Knebworth '90 presents all five of Pink Floyd's filmed performances as presented for television by MTV: Shine On You Crazy Diamond, Sorrow, Wish You Were Here, Comfortably Numb and Run Like Hell. It would appear that there is no known film of the other two performances.

The source for the first disc is a stunning first generation stereo BETA master and presents the entire MTV feature untouched.

The second disc features the 20 min pre-gig Knebworth video anthology, also from a very good source. A slide show featuring Knebworth memorabilia is set to one of the "unfilmed" songs - Money, while the second "unfilmed" track - The Great Gig In The Sky - plays behind the opening menu of this disc. This means that all seven tracks make the package. Rounding out the second disc are rips of the official Shine On You Crazy Diamond and Run Like Hell tracks.
