This documentary profiles belgian surrealist painter Rene Magritte (1898-1967) and shows the recurring influence of certain themes and places an his work. Visits the various towns in whitch he lived, whitch were a source of inspiration to him, and shows extracts from 8mm films made by the painter for the enjoyment of his friends. Includes footage from a television interview with Magritte, shot in his home.
