The now legendary live performance of Pink Floyd's The Wall from the Nassau Colisseum in Uniondale, NY nas been available to Pink Floyd fans for a long time now. There has though always been a quality issue to consider as numerous copies, in varying quality, exist on several formats. Fans and collectors have little choice when it come to collecting this show as the video masterd still have to surface. The general opinion is that any lower generation source is better then the other. Brick by brick collectors backtrack in order to secure a pristine copy of this great show.

This editionof the Nassau show has been brought to you by Pigs On The Wing an a 2 DVD set in order to mantain image and audio quality at the best possible. The Master tape for the source (a suspected 8th or 9th generation VHS tape) has been digitally enhanced to display the best possible result. This DVD set is intermediate "Collectros Edition" (while we await the surfacing of anything better!!!).

This is my first attempt at a "remaster". I am not a miracle worker and the quality of the source tape prevents major improvements in the overall quality.
Audio has four major gaps of silence. These appear on every source I've seen from this show.
Video is very dark. Most of set two is hard to see because of the issues in the original taping of the show.
Use of Temporal Smoother removed most video niose but can have a blurring effect. This is the "lesser of two evils" in my opinion.
