After raining all day long, the skys miraculously cleared just as I arrived at the show. A rainbow could be seen as you approched the venue, hovering directly above it. A sign of a great night to be.
Seats were great, crowd around me was great for the most part as well. It did begin to rain a few times during the show, but was nothing major. Roger commented about the weather a few times during the show. Roger's intro music changed for the first time as well. Instead of a steady dose of Neil Young that I had grown accustomed to, we were all treated to a medley of weather related songs like 'Rain Drops Keep Falling On My Head.'
Recording is a bit windy at times, Jones Beach is known for that. Also during the show for some reason the sound guy made the drums sound swooshy and compressed. This can be heard on the recording at times. This was not caused by me. This is just how it sounded that night.
Roger's new best friends, The Boys' Club Of New York Music Division, join him and his band on stage for 'The Happiest Days Of Our Lives' and 'Another Brick In The Wall Part 2.'
