This turned out pretty nicely. I was able
to get tons of close-ups with the zoom on the Canon; some blurriness, but
overall I am very happy. I was in the 400’s section, but had a nice view of it
all. The plane took off right by us and I was able to film the full trajectory.
Powerful shit!!...
Sadly, however, my battery pack is old and couldn’t
hold out…Thankfully, however, my wife had her Flip! Whilst not providing the
ability fer good close-ups, the remainder of the show is a solid view of the
full stage in 720 HD quality. There is a perhaps a VERY small gap between the
videos, but I knew my battery was going, so I was right there with Plan B.
The sound on both is quite nice and provides a very
enjoyable listen, throughout.
I haven’t seen any other videos of this tour. I hear there is an amazing head on
shot from Chicago. Not sure how this compares, but I think, if you take the
effort to grab this, you’ll be most pleased.
