Supposedly a soundboard but there seems to be some debate about
that. If it is not a soundboard then it must be recorded close to Dave
Gilmour’s monitor I’d say. Listen and you’ll know what I mean. At the start of
Pigs for instance, the guitar is right there with everything else behind, Dave
laughing his way through “ha ha charade you are”.
The mix is biased to Dave so his guitar work and vocals are right there in
front. A weird listening experience, and an oddity. What makes boots so great
IMO!
This is not a 10/10 soundboard but comes recommended all the same, if maybe only
for the first 3 tracks to complement the earlier torrent.
The small glitches present on Track 2 are on the silver CD source.
God only knows where Tracks 6 & 7 come from, somewhere from 1974-75 tour.
The “sequel” to the silver disc entitled “Dark Side Of The Pig” torrented
earlier today.
