Supposedly a soundboard but there seems to be some debate about
that. If it is not a soundboard then it must be recorded close to Dave
Gilmour’s monitor I’d say. Listen and you’ll know what I mean. It is
mindblowing, with cans on especially so.
The mix is biased to Dave so his guitar work and vocals are right there in your
brain.
The “sequel” to this silver disc is entitled “Darkside II; Desk Tapes” and
contains the rest of Animals plus some of WYWH that is missing here. I will
post that next-up.
