First night of Roger's Wall 2011 tour in Dublin. There
was a lesser known celebrity holding his own show at College Green in Dublin
this evening, but enough about President Obama. Met mrgreen2 (eventually)....
This was my very first recording of any show. The
unit was placed in the right hand side breast pocket of a shirt. Recording level
set at 5. Folks around gave me plenty of room because my right arm was in a
sling due to an accident. Thank you to the 6 members of a lovely English family
who were very hospitable. In return, they recieved Yeeshkul's website adress as
they were avid Pink Floyd fans, even the 17 year old lad that stood beside me.
Roger was in flying form. He managed to gain a slight Irish accent just before 'Mother'.
The show was spectacular, in every sense of the word. We were waiting more than
thirty years for The Wall to arrive in Ireland.....It was worth the wait
