On June 13, 2017, I turned 50 and celebrated by signing the closing documents on
our new house. The next day, we started packing for
the move. I was just barely organized enough to grab my rig and fresh batteries
before heading to the Roger show. We had killer seats for viewing and taping,
and the audio turned out excellent. Usually I tape in 48/24, but in this case I
hadn't emptied out my card due to being so busy with the move, and so I did this
one in 44.1/16. The only notable
issue I can remember is that Roger's wireless mic
started to sputter a bit during 'Picture That', and the lady next to me was so
overwhelmed during Numb that she screamed in ecstasy for about ten
seconds straight. The applause at the end of the show was
the loudest I've heard in about 250 shows. We ended up moving during the
record-setting Phoenix heatwave this past weekend, but somehow I didn't
keel over. Finally, we have our PC unpacked and set up in
the new house, and I'm happy to share this great show with you. Cell phone
