When I saw this was coming to the States AND on my buddy's birthday to boot (but
still with a 4-hour drive one way), I knew I had to be there.
The theater is nice. Too bad it is 4 hours away, as I would gladly see more
performances there.
We had a number of woo-hoo guys, but I won't blame them since the show was so
exciting. For me, this just reminds me of what it was like to be in that seat.
For others, I don't doubt it will be distracting. You can even hear my buddy
talking, but I don't care about that either.
FANTASTIC SHOW. I wish I saw it more than once.
There are some times you hear mic noise. I was simply checking to make sure it
was still recording (it has acted problematic for me lately, particularly at the
Weezer show in KC where I only recorded half of the Pixies set due to premature
battery death). It is most notable at the start of Green is the Colour (nice
song in concert, BTW).
If burning to disc, you can split it however you wish. It is somewhat set up for
a disc change starting with Childhood's End.
Again, FANTASTIC SHOW. Too bad I no longer have chances to see it without major
driving distances or flights.
