This show was recorded from the upper seating area, sitting
side on to the stage and about 30 feet back from it. My last Roger recording (Watering
The Park) featured an equipment operator failure, and so does this one! I
managed to record the whole of the first half with the mic switch in the wrong
position, so it might sound slightly different to the second half.
Anyway, Marooned has worked his magic with it and so here it is. Same old set
list, same old show but with Nick Mason helping out with the drumming in the
second half. You will notice that Dark Side has been made into one audio track
which should encourage you to listen to all of it instead of skipping past the
bits you don't like!
PS - I decided to make a track out of the radio soundscape thing which
runs for about 15 to 20 minutes before the show starts. It's technically part of
the show so I thought it should be included. For those of you who haven't been
to a Roger show on this tour, the video screen plays an animation of an old
radio as it blasts out hits of yesteryear as the crowd finishes coming into the
auditorium. Feel free to skip past it - I won't be offended ...
