The source recording for these soundchecks were wav
files provided by sundeep. The source recordings had very low volume levels and
sounded like they were recorded outside the venue in an alley. Also the bass was
very loud.
I equalized the recording to reduce the bass and hiss and boosted the volume.
The boost caused the hiss level to rise and even with the equalization the hiss
is louder than it was on the original but you can now hear the songs. I cleaned
up the heads and tails and removed a blank space.
I received this tape in a trade from a friend of mine in Yorba Linda, CA, in
1994. I was going through some stashed away boxes and found this one. The
quality is less than average, and as T mentions in his notes, it might have been
recorded from outside the venue.
However, after a lot of thought, I decided to make
this available for those that would care to have a copy.
