Complete recording of the legendary Pink performance at the Knebworth 75 festival. Last performance [with Waters] of the integral TDSOTM set.
special appearance of Roy Harper on vocals for Have A Cigar.
This is the 'short' version of the Trouble In Knebworth RoIO [YEESHKUL!! - YR001 - 3CD-set] that does include a bonus from the Essener '69 show on CD3
this Remastered RoIO includes the Knebworth '75 recording only, without bonus.
Cover says " the portion between 'Have A Cigar' and 'Shine On You Crazy Diamond [parts 6-9]' that was missing in the original 3CD-set, was been restored, from another source"
this “second source” is supposed to have beeen used to fill a missing piece between HAC and SOYCD [parts 6-9], since I have not other versions of this recording I can't say exactly what this release does offer more than the other ones, surely HAC is here not complete, it's cut before the end and I'm pretty sure the taper did not record this portion of the song, and unless for filler are meant those about 30 secs at the beginning of SOYCD [6-9] that seem to sound a bit different actually I can't see other additional pieces of music here, no big deal to remaster that RoIO to fill 30 secs of intro to SOYCD IMO, but maybe my disappointment is leading my words now ... I got excited about a filer from a second recorder ...
Audience is quite silent, the taper / friend likes to comment the show here and there, absolutely not annoying.
SQ is not spectacular, this by the origin [since a Master was used here]; many tunings and audience portions are here included too, but if only the taper would have recorded more music than audience! ...
