This is the first installment of the progressional work done between myself and Ello_Guvner regarding 1974-11-15. Ello right now is working on a matrix, and I am assisting with the remastering process.
First on my docket is to deal with the vocals, since the SBD for this date is horribly imbalanced.

Ello's sources:
Partial Soundboard - Strange One
Recorder 1 - London recorder 1 Cass (unkn gen) stratcat58 [24-96]
Recorder 2 - 4th gen (rec2)
Recorder 3 - [R3] - Unprocessed Master [Sigma 154] (revised by bfloflyd)
there is also a 4th recorder, but I didn't think it was worth it. I could still add it on later on though

This is a remaster of the already-golden Recorder 3, derived from the buffalofloyd revision of Sigma 154. Only minor amounts of Noise Reduction was done to all tracks in order to bring out the music more.
Nothing else has been done to this tape.
original infofile is included in this torrent as well.

Buffalofloyd's lineage:
original source/lineage: audience Recorder 3 / cass[M] > original silvers > EAC > flac
new source/lineage: audience Recorder 3 / cass[M] > original silvers > EAC > flac > AudioMuxer 0.9.6.4 (join flacs) > iZotope RX 7 Advanced* > wav > TLH > flac

*clean various clicks, pops, & azimuth adjustment

My Lineage:
flac > Audacity [NR] > flac [tested in TLH]

notes:
Well, here we go again. I just finished working on Who Gotta Be Crazy (Sigma 21) only to find out an even better source was out there all along. Live and learn I suppose. Thanks to
beechwoods for alerting me to the presence of this bootleg which I didn't know existed while working on Sigma 21. This is a real treat actually. The title claims that this is an Unprocessed Master" from the 3rd taper of this night. Both previous releases (How Time Flies & Who Gotta Be Crazy) were EQ'd but still sounded pretty good. How Time Flies (Rover Records) had some clipping but was surpassed when Who Gotta Be Crazy (Sigma 21) came out shortly after, which was more balanced and not as loud and harsh sounding.

This sources claims might actually be true as it looks and sounds to be relatively unprocessed, or much less so, and it's longer too! It does look like a line of interference might have been removed around 21.5khz. The tunings before YGBC and including YGBC have the same interference line but at 21.1khz, most likely due to a speed correction. I don't see this interference line on Who Gotta Be Crazy, but that source was remastered and the upper frequencies look quite different when compared to this release here. This is a fantastic sounding stereo source and the performance is also very good.

Here we get some additional material in the following places when compared to Who Gotta Be Crazy (Sigma 21)...

- the beginning of Speak to Me has 2:08 more here
- after Eclipse there is 0:15 more of applause
- before Echoes we have 0:59 more of audience and tunings
... A total of 3:22 worth of extra recording

I am not entirely certain this source here was used for the two previous releases that were remastered. It's possible, but then why cut out some of the bits that are included on this one like I mentioned above? Whatever the case is, I believe this is the definitive source for this R3, especially because it is longer. If you like the remastered versions, and I do too, then this one might not be as big of an upgrade to you as it is to me.

I went through the entire show, like I usually do, and removed any unwanted artifacts that were present. I cleaned up a few small rough spots, especially at the very beginning of Speak to Me. I removed a few loud pops and a few other distracting noises. Anything you hear that remains I didn't remove because I wasn't able to without damaging the recording, so it stayed, as usual

A really nice version of Echoes on this date, I particularly like Rog's bass playing in several spots during the song. The taper was well positioned this night and must've used pretty good equipment because his recording came out fantastic.

Enjoy!

Enjoy yourselves, keep it lossless, and don't sell this bad boy! This is a really good way to violate every known legal regulation and moral fibre known to man and god alike.
Oh, and mediaaddict, I like what you're doing on guitars101, I just want you to hold off on releasing this there until the Yeeshkul torrent's first 24 hours of seeding has passed. That's all I'm asking of you.
