Production Notes -
Like the title says, ten thousand people showed up
at downtown Cleveland's Time Warner Ampitheater to see hometown heroes and Pink
Floyd tribute extrordinare, WISH YOU WERE HERE, perform the
Pink Floyd classic album THE WALL in its entirety in a full
theatrical production.
There is some drama and backstory to this video
production that led to the near six year delay on the
eventual release of this epic concert event. At this point,
the fences are mended with blessing this performance can be released to the fans.
The show is not without flaws but came off pretty
nicely considering I recruited/hired 3 other camera
operators who I had never worked with before but overall they preformed quite
well except for one pretty much killer error. After
that I think the edit works quite well, this was one of those shows
that sat on my hard drive for far, far, too long.
Eventually it was finished and then as hard drive
crunches hit, I started deleting parts of the project and then oops, i deleted a
incorrect section and had to make due with what I had. The edit could have
benefited from one more pass of fine tuning and there is an audio drop for a
couple minutes that could have been corrected but its all too late now and even
with its flaws, the show received praise and blessings for release to the fan
base and bit torrent community as is.
Please share this recording with a friend who might
not enjoy the pleasures of Bit Torrent, show them what they are missing.
