This is the 2nd time I have seen and recorded this band. They
are extremely entertaining and I was happy I made the three and a half hour trip
up north to go see them. Unfortunately I was in a mad rush getting out of work
and getting ready for the show that I forgot my external battery and as a result
I missed the three encores performed. However, these are the ususal encores and
there was no real surprises. Although I was pissed, I would have been even more
pissed if they surprised us with some more obscure tracks for encores.
The fact they didn't finish playing out Shine On You Crazy Diamond (Parts VI-IX)
was a real disappointment, the song ended right where my favorite part begins...
ugh!
Anyway, if you ever get the chance to see this band I highly recommend them, you
will not see a better Floyd cover band, and that's a fact. Their light show and
Mr. Screen are incredible. Also, the guitar solo in StCftHotS is incredible,
that dude plays a MEAN GUITAR! I think this is definitely one of the best
sounding recordings I've made so far, I am very happy with it and I hope you are
too.
I had a good night leaving as well, I decided to play around a bit in the casino
after the show and drink some coffee to try and wake up a bit for the drive home.
I ended up winning $300 Canadian dollars (hence the title) which was quite cool
cause it ended up paying for the whole trip, plus the American dollar isn't
worth shit now so I got more than $300 American back... hehe! That day was like
the highest exchange rate ever!
