This is a direct copy of a silver factory pressed DVD I have
entitled "Weissenhalle East Berlin Germany June 18 1988". There are no catologue
Nos on the disc or identifying marks other than "NTSC", "Special Edition", and "Made
In Japan"
It's an outdoor gig and there must easily be in excess of 60,000 people present
at a concert in aid of "A Nucleur Free Zone". However my German is not the best
so I may have translated that wrong.
It is pro shot recording for East German TV. (Sometimes during Fish's many rants
the female German translator speaks over Fish translating Fish say "We live in a
Fucked up world" etc)
Its been sourced from a VHS transfer, so the picture quality isn't that great. I
would rate the picture quality as VG. to EX-
However the sound quality is fantastic, which I would rate at EX+ quite easily.
This gig has loads of energy, loads of swearing, loads of political ranting and
shows Fish/Marillion at their best.
I watch this instead of the official stuff it's that good.
I paid Ł30 for this about 5 years ago which was/is a lot of money however it was
worth every penny.
