OK, here we go again. I know a couple of friends that really want this and the
first torrent from 2007-07-07 seems to be welcomed here so I make a new upload
on my favourite place on the web, Yeeshkul! I'll take the chance now to really
thank everybody that makes this place running. I'm fucking louse in English (if
you haven't noticed that already) and therefore not really active in the
conversations but I love you all! Thank you!
This was the first night of three in the barn in the middle of nowhere (look at
the front cover). It was really great and a Swedish jazz legend Svante Thuresson
was the guest of the day. I think the sound is maybe even better than 2007-07-07
but there is a bit of talkers, especially in the beginning of the second set...
I accept sing-a-longers, screamers and clappers of course. It's a concert, its
a great party! But I don't see why we have to whistle (not a big case in this
concert). Talkers I can't stand! It's humiliating for the band and for the
people that really want to listen to the music. How fun is it to hear about how
big fish someone has cached when you try to enjoy the most silence wonderful
tones?!
OK, it was not that bad when I listen to it again, not at all so here it is!
I think it was the first time they preformed "Matilda mother" and again, Lundins
voice really fits for those early PF songs. I want to hear more! Don't miss
Catharina's "Great gig in the sky" by the way! Her version blow me away every
time I hear them!
I'm not glad at all about "The Surrogate Band" songs but that's me :-) I'm a
Roger Waters fan at the bones and I can buy it when its 50/50 (post Waters vs.
Waters solo). That was not the case this time and therefore I make this protest
as usual! Post Waters songs has nothing to do with Pink Floyd even if they
called themselves Pink Floyd!
OK, no more rubbish! Check out their website at http://www.wood5.se/ Great
photos by the way from the weekend here http://www.wood5.se/skog2007/Bilder.html
Visit their concerts and buy their stuff!
Hope youll enjoy the recording like I do!
