This torrent comes from their performance at the 2001 Nearfest
Prog' Festival at the Zeollner Arts Center, Bethlehem, PA, June 23rd 2001. It is
filmed from a single camera as far as I can see, but is professionally done with
plenty of
close-ups through the show. It is chaptered and menued. It's a full show, but
not sure of the actual running time. Ninety minutes or so.
This gig forms part of the Lightbulb Sun tour, an excellent album, which is due
for remastered release at some point this year(2008). It also features one of
the final gigs featuring their original drummer, Chris Maitland. In 2002 and
onward the drum stool was taken over by (the awesome) Gavin Harrison. Saying
that, Chris is no slouch by any stretch of the imagination and his inventive
drumming is worth downloading this show for on it's own. Great singer too!!
I can't remember where I first got this from, but it came as a set of DVD files
ready to go, and that was it. I understand that it is basically a Webcast feed.
However, the sound is excelent, the picture is an awful lot better that an
audience recording, there are no heads bobbing about in your way and is
extremely watchable. I do so myself on a regular basis. I can only hope that the
original video will surface, one fine day.
I've put together some artwork for a DVD cover and a label print. If you don't
want my artwork, then it's still there :-).
