Equipment used was an Olympus model VN-2100 digital voice recorder set to XHQ mode.
I then used a simple patch cable plugged into a MacAlly Peripherals iVoiceIII microphone for iPod, which was in turn plugged into my fifth generation iPod 60GB
I then loaded the raw 16-Bit WAV file onto my hard drive via a USB cable connected to my iPod.
Keep in mind here that the Olympus recorder I used is mono only, so I then loaded the entire raw WAV file into MHWaveEdit v. 1.4.9 for Linux, then used the combine channels function to take the left channel only signal and copy it over to the right to fill out both channels.
Don't worry, folks, this is not intended as a kind of faux stereo trick.
I simply wanted to make sure both speakers of your stereo get a workout.
I then used MHWaveEdit to carefully split the file into pieces that I thought best reflected the song breaks.
No normalization, NR, EQ, or any other kind of processing whatsoever was used, so this may have some imperfections, so accept it, warts and all.
Since the first set ended at the conclusion of "Dark Side of the Moon," I put all songs in that set on disk one, and the second set on disk two.
I attended this gig with my 12 year old daughter, and we both came away very impressed, and I hope you are, too, notwithstanding the limitations imposed by my recording equipment.
