Alan Parsons with 70 years on tour
Focus on "Eye in the Sky"
Münster - On December 20, the British musician, sound engineer and producer will be 70 years old. Alan Parsons comes also to Münster in June 2019 with his "Live Project". The "Sound Master Of Progressive Rock" has already celebrated the 35th anniversary of his artistic milestone "Eye In The Sky" - and he puts exactly this album into the center of the new concerts.
Alan Parsons was once an assistant recording engineer at Abbey Road Studios working on Beatles albums.
Without Parsons as a sound engineer, the Beatles classics "Abbey Road" and "Let It Be" as well as Pink Floyd's masterpiece "Dark Side Of The Moon" would be hard to imagine in the presented form. As a musician, Parsons has been successful for decades, successfully recording single hits like "Damned If I Do", "Lucifer", "Don't Answer Me", "Prime Time" and of course "Eye In The Sky" from the same name album. Ten pieces from the 1982 released work take the central role in his tour.
