This show was a warm up for the "Somewhere In Africa" tour. I think the Leisure Centre had been used for stage rehearsals. This is a gig not often listed.
The band were clearly trying out the tour songs and not all the stage presentations used on the tour were evident. Some songs got (I believe) a rarish outing like "Third World Service", and the running order moved aound somewhat during the tour.
My first use of a Sony Recording Walkman (Sony WM-r2) and it's built in mics. I wore it on strap around my neck attached to the handy pouch provided with it. I moved onto using an external mic soon after.
